Dania Beach Lions Club on May 18th, 2024

Joseph Zager had the pleasure of attending the Dania Beach Lions Club event on May 18th, 2024. The Lions Club meets the needs of local communities and the world daily because of a core belief — to serve their community.

Founded in 1917, the Lions are best known for fighting blindness, but their service extends far beyond that. They volunteer for various community projects, including environmental care, feeding hungry people, and aiding seniors and disabled people. The Lions are committed to providing vision through vision screenings, hospital and clinic support, and raising awareness of eye diseases.

  1. Their efforts also support youth through local and international projects like scholarships, recreation, mentoring, and the Leo Program, which promotes personal development through volunteering.
  2. Since 1968, the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) has awarded over $700 million in grants, supporting humanitarian projects worldwide and aiding communities after natural disasters.
  3. The motto of the Lions Club is: “We Serve,” and Joseph Zager is proud to support such a dedicated and impactful organization. Thank you to the Dania Beach Lions Club for its unwavering commitment to service!
